We still have a few fall raspberries in our backyard. These I picked after I took the picture.
No CommentsHere are some tomatoes that were growing in our small backyard garden. The were not quite rip yet, so I changed to color of the tomatoes from orange to red.
No CommentsMmm…. Hood Strawberries…
No CommentsI though this was an interesting decaying old tree stump along the trail. Everything was wet because of the rain during the night. I didn’t bring my GPS with me, so the map is just a guess.
No CommentsPart of our weekend on Mt Hood, we drove out to the Columbia Gorge and did the Wahkeena Falls and Multnomah Falls trail loop hike. I captured this picture while walking along the retaining walls on the way up the Wahkena Falls trail. There are lots of nice waterfalls/rapids along this trail which I will have to come back for to get some better pictures.
No CommentsTrista and I rented a house near Rhododendron, OR, which was a nice house along the Zigzag river. It was a good thing we brought the Honda Pilot, the roads back to the House were covered hard snow/ice and had been ruts in it and a normal car couldn’t get back to the house. I captured this picture while I was walking around the backyard which was also cover with a icy snow. It was the only post that had this gloss look to it.
No CommentsI went on a short two and a half hour photowalk in Forest Park this morning. Forest Park is Located between Portland and Beaverton on west hills. I drove up to Skyline Drive and parked the car on the gravel (east of Skyline Rd) portion of Springville Rd near the gate. I took firelane 7 road to Ridge Trail which connects up to Wildwood Trail. Once on Wildwood, I hiking south until it was time to turn around and head home. The following pictures were taken on that walk except for the red left in the grass, which was taken in a park near home.
