Here is Kalin at the top of Hood River Mountain. The trail to the top is about 2 miles round-trip with about 600 feet of elevation gain.
No CommentsOn our way to Hood River Mountain, we made a quick stop at Panorama Point County Park. Panorama Point is located South of Hood River Oregon. Here is can get a nice view of Mt Hood and the Hood River Valley.

No CommentsHere is another view of my day pack, the Black Diamond RPM. It is sold as a climber pack, but I think it works great as a day pack. It has all the right features and includes nice padding for carrying heavy camera gear.

No CommentsOn the way back from the Cape Lookout point, I got a better view of Oceanside and Netarts Bay from the North side of Cape Lookout. This would be a good spot for a sunset picture.

No CommentsAfter spending the night at Cape Lookout State Park, I headed up to the Cape to do some hiking. I captured this photo of the state park at the stop where the hand-gliders take off. If you look closely you can see the little blue house which is part of the campground.
